4. Total Price: The final amount displayed at checkout, including service fees and taxes.
5. Services: The platform and tools provided by blocStay to facilitate bookings between guests and accommodation providers, including payment processing.
6. User: Any individual accessing blocStay as a guest, host, or otherwise.
2. Using blocStay
1. Eligibility:
• You must be at least 18 years old (or the legal minimum age in your country) to create an account, book accommodation, or host listings on blocStay.
2. Account Responsibilities:
• You agree to provide accurate information during account creation.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials and notifying us immediately of unauthorized account access.
3. Platform Role:
• blocStay acts solely as an intermediary to connect guests and hosts. We do not own, manage, or control the accommodations listed on our platform.
3. Responsibilities of Hosts and Guests
1. Hosts:
• Must ensure their listings are accurate and comply with local regulations.
• Are responsible for managing cancellations, guest requests, and disputes directly with guests.
• Must maintain appropriate licenses, permits, and insurance as required by law.
2. Guests:
• Must provide accurate details during the booking process.
• Are responsible for adhering to house rules set by the host.
• Understand that refunds depend on the host’s cancellation policy.
4. Payment and Refunds
1. Payments:
• Payments are processed securely via cryptocurrency or fiat currency.
• Payment methods may vary by region and availability.
2. Refunds:
• Refunds (if applicable) are processed according to the host’s cancellation policy and blocStay’s refund procedures.
• Refunds for cryptocurrency payments may be issued as blocStay platform credits due to market volatility.
3. Disputes:
• Any payment disputes must first be directed to our support team.
5. Cancellation and Changes
1. Cancellation policies are set by hosts and displayed at the time of booking.
2. Guests must request changes at least 48 hours before check-in, subject to host approval.
3. blocStay reserves the right to charge processing fees for changes or cancellations.
6. Intellectual Property
1. All content on the blocStay platform, including trademarks, designs, and platform features, is owned by blocStay or licensed to us.
2. Users are granted a limited, non-exclusive license to use the blocStay platform for its intended purposes.
7. Data Protection
1. blocStay processes personal data in compliance with applicable data protection laws, including the GDPR and CCPA.

8. Limitation of Liability

2. blocStay is not liable for:
• Indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
• Losses arising from errors, interruptions, or delays in platform operation.
3. blocStay’s maximum liability for any claim is limited to the total booking fee paid by the user.
9. Dispute Resolution
1. blocStay encourages users to resolve disputes amicably through our support team.
2. If disputes cannot be resolved internally, they are subject to binding arbitration under the jurisdiction of England and Wales.
10. Changes to These Terms
blocStay reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Force Majeure
blocStay is not liable for any failure to perform or delay in performing its obligations due to events beyond its control, including natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.
